An online free application, befuncky, was used to edit the images in this assignment. One of the features of the editing function in befuncky was the usage of a brush. Instead of a cursor, I used a brush that I could adjust in size, hardness, and strength. Observing and understanding how the image changes as I tried out each feature was the most important thing I learned through this assignment. Learning about image editing's diversity and depth has also convinced me that it will be a valuable resource for me in designing course instruction.
